These terms describe the core rules for using Yappa, including account responsibility, lawful messaging and calling, billing, and the limits of service guarantees.
Using Yappa
Yappa is provided by MoStudios LLC to help businesses handle customer conversations, bookings, intake, and follow-up. You agree to use the service lawfully and only for your own business operations.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are also responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Messaging and call usage
You are responsible for using Yappa in a lawful and compliant way when contacting customers. That includes honoring opt-outs, using accurate business information, and following applicable texting, calling, privacy, and marketing rules.
Call recording and consent
Call recording is optional and off by default. When enabled, Yappa announces "This call may be recorded." at the start of every call before any substantive conversation begins. Recording disclosure requirements vary by state — some states require only notice while others require affirmative consent from all parties. You are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable recording laws in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of your callers. Enabling call recording constitutes your representation that your use complies with applicable law.
Not legal, medical, or financial advice
Yappa is an AI-powered front desk and intake assistant — it is not a licensed professional and does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional advice. Nothing communicated through Yappa constitutes legal counsel, medical guidance, financial advice, or any other regulated professional service. Callers should be advised to consult a licensed professional for such matters.
Regulated industries and professional services
If you operate in a regulated industry such as law, medicine, mental health, financial services, or real estate, you are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Yappa complies with all applicable professional rules, licensing requirements, and ethical obligations. Law firms using Yappa must comply with ABA Model Rules and applicable state bar rules, including any obligations to disclose AI use to clients (see ABA Formal Opinion 512, 2024). Communications handled by Yappa are not protected by attorney-client privilege, doctor-patient privilege, or any other professional privilege. You must inform your clients of this before using Yappa for client intake or communications.
Prohibited uses
Yappa may not be used for emergency or crisis services, mental health triage, suicide or crisis hotlines, emergency dispatch, or any context where an AI response delay could cause physical harm or put a life at risk. Yappa may not be used to deceive callers about the nature of the AI or to impersonate licensed professionals.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MoStudios LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of Yappa. MoStudios LLC is not liable for any professional malpractice, client harm, privilege waiver, regulatory action, or professional discipline that results from your use of Yappa. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Yappa shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Billing
Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled. Trials, pricing, included usage, and plan details are described on the pricing page and may be updated over time. If a payment fails, service may be limited or suspended until billing is resolved.
Availability and changes
We may improve, update, or change parts of Yappa over time. We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
No guarantee of outcomes
Yappa is designed to help you respond faster and stay organized, but we do not guarantee any specific revenue, lead, booking, or business result.
Ending service
You may stop using Yappa at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if the service is used unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that puts the platform, our partners, or other users at risk.
